In the traditional 24 solar terms, the period of Keichitsu (啓蟄) begins on March 5th, marking the time when creatures awaken from their winter slumber beneath the earth. 

At IMAMI, we invite you to experience this seasonal transition through an elegant whisky and wagashi pairing.

Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2024 

This limited-edition Hibiki is crafted with rare whisky finished in sakura wood casks, imparting delicate floral notes of cherry blossom and osmanthus, complemented by the gentle sweetness of acacia honey and a refined, lingering essence reminiscent of sakura-mochi. 

Strawberry Kohakutou (Crystal Candy)

Paired with this exquisite whisky is handcrafted kohakutou, a traditional Japanese confection. Inspired by its crystal-like appearance, this Kanazawa confectioner has named it ‘edible jewels. Not only visually beautiful, its crisp surface offers a contrast from the inside, making it a unique tasting experience.  The lingering sweetness of winter strawberries harmonizes beautifully with the subtle floral and honeyed layers of Hibiki, resulting in an elegant symphony of flavors.
