Clase Azul Tequila & Mezcal
A vessel painted by hand, one bottle at a time, by artisans in Mexico. Clase Azul is the house that lifted tequila into the realm of craft. At IMAMI in Ginza, Tokyo, we carry a range of expressions.

Shaped by Hand, Painted by Hand
Each decanter is shaped by a Mexican ceramicist and painted one at a time. No two carry quite the same expression.
As much time goes into the vessel as into the spirit it holds. That, in a single line, is what sets Clase Azul apart.

Ultra, the Pinnacle of the Range
Matured in American whiskey casks and finished in sherry casks. Ultra sits at the summit of the house.
Mezcal, Made Region by Region
Alongside the tequila, we also keep mezcal. Each is made from agave of a different region and variety, and the outline of the place comes through plainly in the aroma.
Tasting Clase Azul
At its core is a rounded sweetness of vanilla and caramel, drawn from the American whiskey casks. That is the axis of the Clase Azul style.
In Ultra, the sherry-cask finish adds a trail of dried fruit and spice. The mezcal is quieter still, with woodsmoke and the green edge of raw agave.
A Bottle That Remains After the Last Pour
When the bottle is empty, the vessel stays with you. A bottle can be chosen to match the person receiving it.
